Desperados Fall Short, 4-3, at Cottage City

The Santa Rosa Desperados and Cottage City Cannonballers provided some drama for the home crowd.
The Cottage City Cannonballers overcame a good performance by Santa Rosa right fielder Nick Crawford to knock off Santa Rosa, 4-3, at Cannonballers Ballpark. Crawford was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Suk Moon collected his 2nd save.
Bobby Burm cracked a home run off Eduardo Garcia in the bottom of the fifth. His 2-run blast put the Cannonballers on top, 4-3. In all, Burm had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"We'll build on this win," said Burm.
Despite the win, the Cannonballers have a lousy 11-26 record.
