Trolls Take Home 4-2 Win Over Glace Bay
|
Glace Bay second baseman Patrick Gentry was sensational. He hit 2 home runs. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Tyler beat the Miners, 4-2. Mark Galinski was the winner. Over 7.2 innings, he yielded 2 runs on 8 hits, with no walks and 4 strikeouts. Justin Pratt got credit for the save for Tyler. It was his 5th of the year.
Tyler used the timely hitting of Chris McCullough to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Trolls on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"I really like what we did out there today," McCullough said after the game.
The Trolls now own a record of 18-17.
