In a tight tilt between the Tampa Capitals and the Huntsville Rockets, Estevan Rios was the deciding factor. The Tampa right-hander spearheaded the 1-0 win. Rios, the winner, moves to 3-2. He threw 6.2 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 3 walks. Tampa has now won 3 in a row.

The Rockets had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Capitals going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 23-year old left fielder Everett Foley came to the plate. Foley hit a solo home run on a first pitch fastball from Huntsville hurler Joe Brackett. It was Foley's 2nd home run of the year.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Rios told the Tampa Daily.
