Tampa pitcher Aaron Kent did his part in helping his team beat the Tyler Trolls, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Keegan Flay snagged the win in relief. He goes to 3-1 on the season. Kevin McGaha suffered the loss. Joe Lilley earned the save for Tampa, his 5th of the year.

Jerry Perez swatted a 2-run double for Tampa in the bottom of the fourth. The center fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 3.

"Been a rough stretch for us," said Tyler manager Will Brewer.
