Jet Hawks Send Glace Bay Home with 8-3 Loss
The Grand Rapids Jet Hawks beat the Glace Bay Miners, 8-3, at Jet Hawks Ballpark. Grand Rapids third baseman Curt Holy, who is tied for 2nd in the N-A in doubles with 9, collected 2 singles and 1 double with 2 RBI. Grand Rapids pitcher Scott Barth got the win, upping his record to 1-1. Luis Cortez got the loss. The Jet Hawks win now puts them at 18-11.

Holy contributed in the bottom of the second. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Grand Rapids get the win.

"We were able to put some runs on the board," said Holy after the game.
