The 3-hit performance of Jonathan Behre helped the Glace Bay Miners beat the Cottage City Cannonballers, 7-0. The loss drops the Cannonballers to 6-22.

The Miners got an important contribution from shortstop Adam Mathis, who in the bottom of the second hit a first pitch changeup to left for a run-scoring double. It was his 9th double of the season and put the Miners ahead, 2-0.

"I still think this team can play even better," Behre told the Glace Bay Gazette.
