Blue Jays Rally For Late Win Over Cannonballers
The St. Catharines Blue Jays eked out a 3-2 win versus the Cottage City Cannonballers at Engineers Ballpark. Nobody did more than center fielder Jesse Stopper. He was terrific. The save went to Bobby Pfau, number 4 for him. The Blue Jays are off to a tough start, getting just their 9th win in 23 games.

St. Catharines took a 3-2 lead on Tom Modell's 5th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Modell hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Cottage City pitcher Alex Alvarez visibly frustrated.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Modell.
