Geltz Rips 2 Home Runs in 6-1 Miners Triumph
The home crowd had a good time watching the St. Catharines Blue Jays and Glace Bay Miners get after it.

Ray Geltz was instrumental in his team's 6-1 triumph over the St. Catharines Blue Jays. The designated hitter was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Glace Bay Miners. The defeat makes the Blue Jays 7-12.

With Glace Bay trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Geltz hit a fastball from Carlos Serrano for a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Miners ahead, 3-1.
