Despite a great performance by Santa Rosa right fielder Craig Booker, the Huntsville Rockets defeated the Desperados by the score of 5-4 at Keelhaulers Ballpark. Booker was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The save went to Jimmy Lyles, number 5 for him. The loss drops the Desperados to 10-5.

Glen Eastman dealt the Desperados a blow in the top of the fifth. Batting with a runner on 2nd and Huntsville leading 4-0, Eastman, who is tied for 2nd in the N-A in triples with 1, hit a 1-0 fastball for a run-scoring single.

"I like the roll we're on," said Huntsville manager Alec Roller.
