Cottage City Gets Another L
The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.

The Kansas City Dust Devils picked up a win at Kansas City Grounds, dropping the Cottage City Cannonballers, 5-3. Tadamasa Takashima was the difference-maker. Jordan Moreno wrapped it up, recording his 2nd save.

Had Michael Segar not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Segar hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Dust Devils.

"We're going through a bad spell," said Cottage City manager .

The loss drops Cottage City to 4-13.
