Kent Throws 6-Hitter En Route to 3-1 Capitals Win
The Tampa Capitals and Grand Rapids Jet Hawks played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.

The Tampa Capitals got a stellar performance from pitcher Aaron Kent, who handcuffed the Grand Rapids offense en route to a win, 3-1, at Capitals Ballpark. Grand Rapids now is 6-8.

Kent's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 8 strikeouts in 9 innings while allowing 6 hits. Kent goes to 2-1 on the year with 23 strikeouts.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Kent told a Tampa Observer reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
