Martinez Deals San Antonio 4-1 Setback
Kansas City starter Alex Martinez pitched effectively against the San Antonio Stallions at Kansas City Grounds. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-1. Earning his 3rd save of the year was Evan Perez. The Stallions drop to 6-6 and continue their mediocre start to the 2024 season.

The Dust Devils liked what they saw from Martinez. The 20-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Stallions to 1 run on 4 hits over 8 innings, and striking out 5.
