Augusta right-hander Max Hercules pitched his team to victory over the Miami Boll Weevils at Ballpark of Miami. The final score was 6-1. Augusta's record now stands at 23-23, placing them 4th in the Western AA Coastal Division.

Early in the game, shortstop Eric Carpenter had a 2-run double for Augusta. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Capitols on top, 2-0.
