The Cincinnati Bombardiers got a marvelous performance from pitcher Jason Gaiser. The right-hander kept the London offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 4-1 Cincinnati victory at Ballpark of Cincinnati. Gaiser got the win, improving to 2-1. He gave up 5 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. He allowed 1 run. The save was credited to Max Mascareno, his 8th.

The Bombardiers got a big hit from center fielder Kyle Resko. Facing London pitcher Lee Morgan in the bottom of the fifth, Resko pounded a run-scoring double to left. His 5th double of the season put the Bombardiers ahead, 2-0.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Cincinnati skipper Carlos Almendarez.

Cincinnati now sits at 18-29, while London falls to 30-17.
