Big Day for Dobbs in 7-4 Milkmen Win
Vermont and Sonoma took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

The Vermont Milkmen cut down the Sonoma Scorpions by the score of 7-4, with the largest share of the credit going to designated hitter Craig Dobbs. Dobbs hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Milkmen. Manuel Angloma nailed down his 3rd save.

Earl Leason took Sonoma hurler Jose Ceballos deep in the bottom of the third. His solo home run put the Milkmen on top, 2-1. In all, Leason had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"I know we have our doubters," said Sonoma manager Keith Young. "But I still have high hopes for this team."

The setback makes Sonoma 21-25.
