Ragin Cajuns Get Hard-Earned Win
|
In a close game at Ballpark of Cincinnati, the Stockton Ragin Cajuns edged the Cincinnati Bombardiers, 5-4. Stockton designated hitter Devin Lepp stood apart with his performance. He was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Jonathan Lamas was credited with the save for Stockton, his 3rd of the season. The Ragin Cajuns now have a mark of 29-14.
Chris Roberts was 1-4 against the Bombardiers. With the game tied in the top of the ninth inning, he hit a sacrifice fly that put Stockton in front, 5-4.
"It was a solid team effort," Lepp said. "That's usually what it takes to win."
