Scorpions Rally Late to Nip Capitols
Despite a great performance by Augusta left fielder Skyler Fundis, the Sonoma Scorpions defeated the Capitols by the score of 10-9 at Ballpark of North Richland Hills. Fundis hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Reliever Kevin McDonald picked up the win. His record improves to 2-1. Tim Kondas took the loss. The wins continue to add up for Sonoma. The latest makes it 7 in a row.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Sonoma. That's when Jaime Tate hit a bases-clearing double off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Tim Kondas to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Tate told the Sonoma Daily News.
