Boll Weevils Come Up Short at Stockton, 5-4
The Stockton Ragin Cajuns weathered an outstanding game by Miami shortstop Tim Kidd to topple the Boll Weevils, 5-4. Kidd was 3-5 with 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI. Jarred Gangi, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2023 draft, nailed down the save. With the win, the Ragin Cajuns have a record of 19-21.

Chris Roberts was 1 for 3. He drove in 3 runs for Stockton. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the seventh inning, Roberts had a clutch at-bat. Facing Miami hurler Dave Vondrasek, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Ragin Cajuns a 5-4 lead.
