Milkmen Snag 4-2 Win
The 4-2 Vermont win over Cornwall was due in large part to Tim Royal. The Milkmen right fielder went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Vermont is 22-17 and Cornwall, with the loss, 23-16.

Royal had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 0-2 curveball from Dan Rank, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Milkmen a 4-2 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Royal.

"I thought we played a nice game," Royal told the Vermont Daily News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
