Miami Boll Weevils starter Jon Caruso pitched well against the Vail Tigercats at Ballpark of Miami, leading his team to a win, 3-0. The winner was Caruso. He threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Dennis Cambridge. Chris Zich earned the save for Miami, his 7th of the year.
