Royals Earn 2-1 Win Versus Tigers

The game between Cornwall and London is in the books, despite a little rain.
London pitcher Chris Casady gave the Royals all they could handle, but in the end, Cornwall left King George Park with a win, 2-1. Casady allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 8.2 innings. The second-place Royals hiked their record to 23-13.
Erik Hansen played the role of hero for Cornwall. In the bottom of the tenth, he launched a solo home run off Paul Reining to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was the decisive blow.
In postgame remarks, Hansen simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
