Tigercats Earn 4-3 Home Win
|
Vail Grounds was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Vail Tigercats and Augusta Capitols.
Kevin Cremo had a good game, but he could not keep the Augusta Capitols from falling, 4-3, to the Vail Tigercats at Vail Grounds. The Augusta second baseman was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once in the loss. Vince Rice was credited with the save for Vail, his 11th of the season.
Jason Bailey hit a 2-run double off Travis Jessie in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Tigercats in front, 4-3. In addition to the double, Bailey had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Bailey.
Vail is now 20-14, Augusta 19-15.
