Scorpions Rally to Eke Out Win
|
The Sonoma Scorpions grabbed a win, 6-5, over the Cincinnati Bombardiers in 10 innings at Ballpark of North Richland Hills. Sonoma designated hitter Dave Pimenta was 3-5 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Bombardiers drop to 13-15 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2025 season.
The Scorpions got a clutch hit from third baseman Keith DiPiazza. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to left-center, to win the game for the Scorpions.
"Our guys refused to lose," said DiPiazza.
