He hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5 for Vermont. Vermont pitcher Vicente Perez got the win, upping his record to 2-0. Bill Samples got the loss. Vermont goes to 9-17.

Early in the game, Clayton had a 3-run home run for Vermont. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Milkmen on top, 3-0.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Clayton.
