The Vail Tigercats handed the London Tigers a sound defeat, 16-1, at Vail Grounds. Ian McKibbins was a main contributor to the win. He went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for Vail. Vail goes to 15-10.

In the bottom of the third inning, left fielder Jason Bailey had a 2-run double for Vail. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Tigercats on top, 3-1.
