Ragin Cajuns Pick Up 5-3 Win
|
Chad Grant was a major contributor to the 5-3 Stockton win over Vermont. The Ragin Cajuns pinch hitter was 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Ragin Cajuns, now 15-6, have been playing some good baseball.
Grant had a timely hit for Stockton in the top of the seventh. With Stockton trailing 3-2, he turned a full count sinker into a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season, making it 5-3, Stockton.
Stockton manager Jeffrey Troke was pleased with the team's effort. "It was just a good, gutsy performance by everybody," he said.
