Baker Homers Twice in 17-4 Tigers Win
Behind a solid performance from third baseman Allen Baker, the London Tigers defeated the Hialeah Firecats, 17-4. Baker went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for the Tigers. London pitcher Brad Edwards earned the win, hiking his record to 2-2. Ernie Fields suffered the loss. The Firecats fall to 6-12 and continue their lackluster start to the 2024 season.

In the bottom of the first, Baker had a 3-run home run for London. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Tigers on top, 3-0.

"This team keeps racking up the wins," said Tigers manager Jose Torres.
