The Cincinnati Bombardiers beat the Hamilton Bulldogs, 6-2, at Ballpark of Cincinnati. Cincinnati right fielder Randy Wheat had an outstanding performance. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times. Hamilton, now 4-11, continues its tough start.

Wheat had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a full count fastball from Jesus Garcia, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Bombardiers a 3-2 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Wheat.

"We did the things that it takes to win a game," said Wheat.
