The London Tigers converted a terrific effort from starter Brad Edwards into a win over the Sonoma Scorpions at Ballpark of North Richland Hills. The Tigers won the game by a final score of 9-1. Edwards, the winner, moves to 1-2. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 5 walks. London is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 3rd win in 13 games.

London shortstop Gerardo Medina helped his team get ahead early. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he grounded out, driving in 1 run.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Medina.
