Behind Suarez, Tigercats Beat Bombardiers, 4-0
|
Vail Grounds was the site for Western AA action featuring the Cincinnati Bombardiers and Vail Tigercats.
Tony Suarez never let Cincinnati get something going. The Vail right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Tigercats to a 4-0 win. The loss drops Cincinnati to 4-6.
Suarez tossed 100 pitches over 7.1 innings to clinch the win for the Tigercats. The right-hander allowed just 2 hits, while racking up 8 strikeouts in the game.
"Tony can bring it," said Vail manager Mike Alexander.
