Cornwall Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
Cornwall Royals starter Bill Mosher pitched well against the Vail Tigercats at King George Park, leading his team to a win, 4-2. Jeremy Sufka, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 0.1 innings. The loss drops the Tigercats to 2-5.
Cornwall got a game-changing hit from Joe Orr. The left fielder blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a winner.
"It's what good teams do, find a way to win," said Orr.
