The Vermont Milkmen powered past the Miami Boll Weevils, 9-6, at Ballpark of Miami. Brian Brockman provided some of the pop. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Miami is 3-3 after the defeat.

Phil Bohler came through with a big-time hit for Vermont. The pinch hitter smacked a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 8-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
