Millionaires Win with Late Heroics
The Alcoa Millionaires defeated the Traverse City Bears, 6-5, in 10 innings. Mike Gelardi led the way, going 2-for-4 for Alcoa. Jerry Cirulli snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 2.1 innings. He's now 5-4 on the season. The win makes Alcoa 52-88.

The Millionaires got a clutch hit from catcher Jon Schau. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Millionaires.

"We had a chance to win," said Traverse City manager Zach Hildebrant, "but we didn't get it done."
