Dread Kings Take Tight Tangle
Thanks in large part to first baseman Danny Martinez, the Boise Dread Kings beat the Washington Wildthings, 10-9. Martinez was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The win went to Jamie Licht in relief, making him now 1-2. Scott Meredith took the loss for Washington. With the win, the Dread Kings have a record of 77-55.

Cesar Berrios was the walk-off hero for Boise. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dread Kings pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Both teams had plenty of clutch hits," said Berrios. "It made for an exciting game."
