Black Helps Washington Bombard Traverse City
The Washington Wildthings blasted the Traverse City Bears, 16-4. Dan Black was one of the hitting stars. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5 for Washington. With the win, Washington is 20-113.

The Wildthings got an important contribution from right fielder Andy Cobler, who in the top of the first hit a 1-2 curveball to left for a bases-clearing double. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Wildthings ahead, 5-0.

"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Washington manager Danny Sanchez.
