Eskimo Brothers Get One-Run Win at Boise
|
Eskimo Brothers first baseman George Foote left his mark on his team's 6-5 win over the Boise Dread Kings. Foote, who leads the E-AA with a .565 slugging percentage, was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for Encinitas in the contest. Hunter Saakadze closed out the game, earning his 2nd save. The Eskimo Brothers improved to a lofty 91-39.
With Encinitas leading 3-0 in the top of the fourth, Foote hit a curveball from Aaron Lasco for a 3-run home run. It was his 31st home run of the season and put the Eskimo Brothers ahead, 6-0.
"At least I did my job," Foote said.
