Eskimo Brothers Get 4-3 Win Versus Riverside
The Encinitas Eskimo Brothers faced a tough opponent in Riverside pitcher Antonio Mendoza, but did just enough to pull out the victory at EBDBBNB Park by a final score of 4-3. Mendoza went 6 innings and allowed 4 runs. Chris Fitzsimmons earned the save, his 1st. The win elevated the Eskimo Brothers to 85-45.

Unto Peurajärvi had a big 3-run home run for the Eskimo Brothers in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Encinitas trailing 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he sized up a fastball from 32-year old right-handed pitcher Antonio Mendoza and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Eskimo Brothers on top, 3-2.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Encinitas manager Logan Greening.
