Rotters Topple Millionaires, 15-9, as Douglas Shines
Matt Douglas, who leads the E-AA in triples with 9, knocked in 3 runs to help the Riverside Rotters win, 15-9, over the Alcoa Millionaires. Riverside reliever Micah Morgan was credited with the win. His record goes to 2-0. Gabe Mondragon took the loss for Alcoa. Greg Forness finished to wrap up his 1st save.

With Riverside leading 9-7 in the top of the sixth, Douglas hit a 2-run single off Alcoa hurler Jim Unknown. It was the 92nd hit of the season for Douglas and put his team ahead, 11-7.

"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Douglas told the Riverside Bulletin.

The Rotters sport a record of 84-41.
