Eskimo Brothers Fall Short, 4-3, at Alcoa
The Alcoa Millionaires did just enough to sneak past the Encinitas Eskimo Brothers, 4-3, at Alcoa Grounds. Alcoa pitcher Ryan Louviere, in particular, had a standout performance. Louviere, now 4-8, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 7, walking 3, and allowing no runs. The Millionaires sit in 4th place in the Eastern AA Northern Division with a record of 44-74.

With Alcoa leading 1-0 in the bottom of the sixth, Alex Torres hit a run-scoring single off Encinitas pitcher Vinny Luna. It put the Millionaires ahead 2-0.
