Dread Kings Best Rotters in Pitching Duel
In a low-scoring contest between the Boise Dread Kings and the Riverside Rotters, Reynaldo Calle was the X factor. The Boise right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. David Caldwell picked up the save for Boise, his 5th of the year. With the win, the Dread Kings improved to 59-55.

The Rotters had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Dread Kings going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 26-year old right fielder Matt Coombs came to the plate. Coombs hit a 2-run home run on a 1-0 curveball from Riverside hurler Ryan Butler. It was Coombs's 8th home run of the year.

"Reynaldo was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Boise manager Sean Drummond.
