Encinitas got a terrific game from catcher Dan Tillery. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Fresno, 6-5, in 11 innings. Tillery was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Fresno is now 59-47, Encinitas 67-39.

In the top of the 11th, Fresno got a clutch hit from Tyler Walker. The designated hitter belted a solo home run, putting the Running Rebels up, 6-5. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a decisive one.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Encinitas manager Logan Greening.
