The Aurora Suns did just enough to sneak past the Fresno Running Rebels, 4-3, at Suns Field. Aurora pitcher Ramon Landa, in particular, had a standout performance. Aurora pitcher Josh Edwards earned the win, hiking his record to 6-2. Jordan Clayton suffered the loss. Aurora goes to 59-38, Fresno to 53-44.

Aurora took a 4-3 lead on John Anderson's 3rd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Anderson hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Fresno pitcher Jordan Clayton visibly frustrated.

"If you ever get this game figured out," said Fresno manager Hunter Santiago, "let me know."
