The rain came, as predicted, but the Boise Dread Kings and Washington Wildthings were able to complete their ballgame.

Boise designated hitter B.B. Bugbee helped his team beat the Washington Wildthings, 14-8. Bugbee went 3 for 5 for the Dread Kings. The win belonged to Alex Lozada in relief. His record improves to 1-4. Jim Hodgins took the loss for Washington.

In the top of the sixth, the Dread Kings grabbed the lead when Bugbee hit his 7th home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Jim Unknown made it 8-6, Boise.

"Winning never gets dull," said Bugbee.

The Dread Kings now have a record of 48-45 with the win over Washington.
