Mesa got a first-rate effort from pitcher Oscar Flores, who frustrated Aurora hitters en route to a 3-1 Razor Sharks triumph at Suns Field. D.J. Attridge picked up the save, his 4th. Mesa has now won 5 straight.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Jimmy Olivares? The Mesa second baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Razor Sharks on top, 2-0. For the game, Olivares had 1 double and 1 single in 2 at-bats.
"It feels good to get this one," Flores told the Mesa Daily News.
