Chiefs 6-1 Winners Versus Winchester
|
Mescalero Chiefs pitcher Brent Gudim was in top form, leading his team past the Winchester Mountaineers, 6-1. Marvin Henderson notched his 4th save of the season. The Chiefs improved their record to 36-27 by beating Winchester.
David Villanueva helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to give Mescalero a 2-0 lead.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Villanueva.
