The 4-hit performance of Kody Garcia helped the Rohnert Park Cougars beat the Mescalero Chiefs, 4-2. The Cougars improved their record to 26-32 with the win over Mescalero.
The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fifth. That's when Garcia hit a run-scoring single off Victor Luna. It propelled the Cougars into the lead, 3-2.
"We'll hit the hot tub in good spirits tonight," said Garcia.
