Rohnert Park Cougars starter Kyle Yearwood pitched well against the Mesa Razor Sharks at Ballpark of Greenup, leading his team to a win, 5-4. The last-place Cougars are 22-31.

The decisive blow was delivered by Kyle Nash in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Heriberto Hernandez to win the game for Rohnert Park. The home crowd went nuts.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Mesa manager Danny Schexnayder.
