Mountaineers Earn 3-0 Road Win Over Boise
Winchester Mountaineers starter Marty Capone turned in a top-notch performance against the Boise Dread Kings at Ballpark of Boise. The result was a win for the Mountaineers, 3-0. The Eastern AA Southen Division-leading Mountaineers have a record of 39-14.

Winchester used the clutch hitting of Kasey Miller to snag the win. The center fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Mountaineers ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Winchester manager Mitchell Young.
