Mountaineers Suffer One-Run Loss at Boise
In a tight tilt between the Boise Dread Kings and the Winchester Mountaineers, Nelson Martinez was the deciding factor. The Boise right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Reynaldo Beltran earned the save, his 10th. The win gives Boise a season record of 28-23.

Matt Mims came through for Boise with a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh. The third baseman was a perfect 3 for 3 in the game, including 1 home run and 2 singles. He scored 1 run and collected 2 RBI.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Martinez said in reaction to the win.
