Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Rotters beat the Millionaires.

Bobby Phillips powered the Riverside Rotters to a win over the Alcoa Millionaires. The final score was 9-7. The Riverside first baseman, the 6th overall pick in the 2020 draft, was phenomenal. He stroked 4 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 3 doubles. Earning his 7th save of the year was Abel Viar.

With Riverside leading 5-4 in the bottom of the fourth, Phillips hit a changeup from Greg Brand for a run-scoring double. It was his 8th double of the season and put the Rotters ahead, 6-4.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Phillips, "and then get after it again."

The 4th-place Millionaires have lost 4 consecutive games.
